Giving back is not a new concept for most small businesses. Data shows that 75% of small businesses donate 6% of their monthly profit to charities. The data clearly shows that by 2022, small businesses will become more generous and socially aware. However, small business charitable donations still make up a small portion of annual charitable donations. The reason is clear: larger companies have more liquidity and make more money, so it’s easy to outperform these smaller companies.
Donating money to charity isn’t the only way to give back to society – many other creative ways enable even the smallest brands to make a significant impact on society. In this article, I’ll share a few concepts that we’ve used with great success in my business.
