A Jazzman’s Blues promises to be enchanting.

A Jazzman’s Blues is set to debut on Netflix on September 23, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PT. The streaming site released the official trailer for the film on August 23, 2022, which begins with the two main characters enjoying a meaningful kiss, as the narrator says.

“It was our very first kiss. Nothing in my life has ever felt so great.”

Then the trailer gives a glimpse into the life of the main character Bayou, in which he portrays his numerous personal challenges. Bayou and his girlfriend LeAnne seem to have split up due to social problems. LeAnne finishes the dramatic and poignant teaser by asking Bayou:

“Do you still plan to take me with you?”

He responds,

“With all my heart.”

Fans of sad romantic dramas will appreciate the trailer’s nostalgic, melancholy tone. According to the teaser and description, the audience can expect an emotional rollercoaster that depicts many intricate aspects of love. Along with the trailer, Netflix released a recap for the film, which reads as follows:

“A JAZZMAN’S BLUES is a flying tale of forbidden love that unravels forty years of secrets and deceit to juke up joint blues in the deep south.”

A Brief Look at the Cast of A Jazzman’s Blues
