What to expect from Abbott Elementary season 2?

Fans received the good news about the show’s renewal on March 14, 2022. The announcement that ABC is green-lighting the series for Abbott Elementary Season 2 came via a Tweet from the show’s official Twitter handle.
Meanwhile, talking about the future of the show, creator Quinta Brunson said in an interview, “It felt like it was too early in the series. In my head I have an endgame for the whole show, every character. But suppose we get there. wanted the room for ‘Will they/won’t They mean nothing or later, I wanted the room to do that. So we closed it like we did with Gregory on his own journey and Janine on her own journey.”
As for the production of the second season, it is reported that the shooting will start in the summer of 2022, so we can expect the second season to be released in mid-2023.
