However, after only a year with the Hornets, Lance was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, before being traded again to the Memphis Grizzlies. Lance signed with the New Orleans Pelicans on September 14, 2016, then began playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves on February 8, 2017, but returned to the Pacers after about two months. On July 10, 2018, Lance signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he played for them for a year before joining the Liaoning Flying Leopards on August 1, 2019, with whom he still has a contract.
