Robach began her career with WTTG in Washington, DC, before moving to MSNBC in 2003, where she presented Two A.M. and populated Countdown with Keith Olbermann and Morning Joe for four years. She was named Weekend Today co-anchor in July 2007. When she informed ABC News of her resignation, her last day on Weekend Today was May 19, 2012. Her career began as a journalist on ABC’s Good Morning America. She was designated the show’s news anchor on March 31, 2014. She had eight rounds of chemotherapy, radiation and reconstructive surgery.
