Now available are all eight episodes of Season 2 of Bling Empireas well as the season finale. Typically, the finale of a television season leaves viewers with a sense of, well, finality. Fans looking for a climax to the drama between the richest Asian and Asian-American socialites in Los Angeles were left with more questions than answers at the end of Season 2 of Bling Empire. Fans will have to wait until Bling Empire Season 3 to get their pressing Bling Empire questions answered.
Season 2 of Bling Empire’s ending was the ultimate cliffhanger. After Christine Chiu and Anna Shay maintained the animosity they began in Season 1 for an entire season, they came to an unexpected halt. Sitting across from each other and discussing their issues, they came to the conclusion that Kane Lim had been the source of most of the trouble by spreading rumours. At the end of the second season, Christine and Anna decided to confront Kane as a team. At the very end of Season 2, there was one more surprise, if that’s not enough to keep viewers hooked for next season. Kelly Mi Li’s ex-boyfriend, Andrew Gray, unexpectedly showed up at Anna’s door, leading admirers to speculate about the significance of his appearance.
Here’s what we know about a possible Bling Empire Season 3 release date and what it might mean for the actors.
Bling Empire’ Season 3: Possible Release Date
Unfortunately, as the release date for the third season of Bling Empire has not yet been announced, no information is available yet. But the second episode was released less than a year after the announcement, so are we hoping for a summer 2023 release date?
The second season of the hit Netflix drama ended with several cliffhangers, including the truth about whether Jessey Lee had an affair with Cherie Chan at the start of their relationship, the growing romance between Kim Lee and Kevin Kreider, and Wang’s huge move to New York City.
“A lot of friendships have been broken,” Wang tells us, adding that the third season “probably” will start by the end of the summer.
Lee, 33, who has been on the show since season one, seemed to confirm this timeline by replying “very soon” on Instagram in response to a fan’s question about when season 3 will premiere.
Bling Empire lawsuit:
Despite the series’ success, its future may be uncertain as ongoing turmoil could prevent the production of more seasons. According to People, one of the show’s actresses, Kelly Mi Li, accused executive producer Jeff Jenkins of stealing her idea for Bling Empire in late April. Li claims in the complaint that she approached Jenkins about her concept for a reality show about affluent Asian Americans who were already living in Los Angeles in 2018. Jenkins had no response to the story.
Li also claimed that she and Jenkins worked closely together for months to develop Bling Empire, which, according to People, led to the program’s successful sales. She alleges that Jenkins and his production company “acquired and exploited Plaintiff Li’s idea and content and entered into binding contracts.” Li wants to be recognized, compensated and treated as an executive producer for Bling Empire.
The kind of turmoil that can cause a rift between cast, crew, and production is probably not what the streaming service is looking for. Ideally, all creative parties’ demands can be met and Netflix can focus more on on-screen drama than behind-the-scenes disputes. Fans will have to wait and see how things play out and whether this affects Season 3’s capabilities.
What happens in Bling Empire Season 3?
Season 3 has a lot to deal with, starting with Kevin and Kim’s on-again, off-again relationship.
After chasing her during the second season, Kevin found himself on unstable ground, worried that the party girl might endanger his nearly six-year sobriety. Kim was also unable to overcome her trust issues; she even had Kevin undergo a lie detector test.
Then there’s Kane, whose penchant for gossip has gotten him in trouble not only with Kevin all season, but Anna and Christine as well.
Kane then reported to Anna about Christine’s claims that she had heard that Anna was planning to “terminate” her. Despite initially adding fuel to an already strained relationship, Anna eventually listened to Christine and really sympathized with the idea that she was just venting her fears when she was already in a vulnerable position.
Anna’s day was ruined by the return of Drew, Kelly’s toxic ex-boyfriend from last season, just as they were about to confront Kane together and put an end to the situation for good.
By bringing flowers to Anna’s house, he seems to be trying to get someone’s favor. However, why?
Who is Anna from Bling Empire?
Anna Shay is the richest cast member of Bling Empire, with a claimed net worth of $600 million. Anna said after the first season that she didn’t pay her checks from Netflix because she “didn’t know what to do with the money”.

Reviews of Bling Empire’ Season 1 & 2
Rotten Tomatoes reports a 90% approval rating based on 10 reviews for the first season, with an average rating of 6.7/10. The consensus of the website’s critics is: “Bling Empire may be a celebration of extravagant wealth, but the reality show’s Asian-American cast adds a fascinating element of cultural celebration.”
TV Guide’s Diane Gordon said the television series was more than the “grotesque wealth” it portrayed, as the cast featured interesting people, some of whom discovered their identities.
Eilidh Hargreaves of the Telegraph called the main characters’ “epic rivalry”, “ridiculous” difficulties, excessive whims and “selfish” mentality “delightfully repulsive to watch.”
