Over the past year and a half, Captain Carter has captured the hearts of fans. Captain Carter debuted in the What if…? animated series by Disney+† She then had a cameo role in the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness† Now Captain Carter’s live-action project is in development, it could be a series or a movie.

Captain America is the Super Soldier and the First Avenger of the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. But in Earth-838 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we see Captain Carter is the Super Soldier and the First Avenger. Captain Carter is also a member of the Illuminati we saw in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. We also get to see Captain Carter at the Marvel Studios What If? series Disney+. Captain Carter appeared in the first episode and the last episode of What If…? and she will also return in the second season of What If?. Hayley Atwell plays the role of Peggy Carter aka Captain Carter. Now, as rumor has it, a Captain Carter live-action project played by Hayley Atwell is in development. It can be a series or a movie.

About Captain Carter’s live-action project

In a recent episode of the Rumor of the Week segment of the DisInsider show, Derek Cornell has claimed that Marvel Studios is reportedly developing a live-action Captain Carter project, which is either a movie or a series. After Captain Carter’s hot start in What If…? and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Captain Carter is now ready to do her live-action solo project. Derek Cornell’s words are listed below.

“Serial or movie, but something is going on, live action is coming.”

Derek Cornell words in that show.

About Captain Carter

According to the origin of What If…? Margaret Elizabeth Carter, also known as Peggy Carter, is an agent of Strategic Scientific Research during World War II. When Steve Rogers was the original candidate to do the Rebirth project, he was injured by a Hydra Spy. Carter volunteered to do the Rebirth project as a replacement for Steve Rogers. Then Peggy Carter became the first successful super soldier. Then she went to war against Hydra as Captain Carter. Many battles had happened between them and finally Red Skull has summoned his champion of Hydra. Captain Carter sacrificed himself to stop Champion of Hydra and went to Tesseract’s wormhole. As she went through that wormhole, she came out seventy years, and now a woman of the time came to join the SHIELD, but mourn the loss of Rogers. In the latest episode of What If? Captain Carter was chosen to save the Multiverse from Ultron. After saving the Multiverse when she returned to his universe, Natasha Romanoff informed her that they had found Hydra Stomper and that there was a man in it. Because we didn’t see any of Captain Carter’s origins in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as it was just a cameo. But we can hear that she was the first Avenger of Earth-838. She later dies at the hands of Wanda aka Scarlet Witch. In the live action, her role was played by Hayley Atwell and in the animated series, Hayley Atwell was given the voice of Captain Carter.

Fans are thrilled after getting the news that a Captain Carter project is in development. Marvel Studios thinks of her as the new and important member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the DisInsider, Derek Cornell said that the Captain Carter project is in development, it could be a series or a movie. Fans can’t wait to see Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter in action again, as Hayley Atwell is a very long-standing member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hayley Atwell also did her Marvel series called Agent Carter which only lasted 2 seasons.
