A trailer for Avatar 2: The Way of Water finally gave the first real look at James Cameron’s sequel. However, it is not yet for sale online. To promote the upcoming release of Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a new trailer was unveiled at CinemaCon last week. A digital version of the trailer is also expected to be available in the near future.

CNET saw the trailer early Monday in a 3D theater screening and the visuals are stunning. The Navi can be seen interacting with humans and navigating the glittering waters and lush jungles of Pandora.
The release date for Avatar 2 has been set for December 16. In addition to returning cast members Worthington and Saldaa, Giovanni Ribisi, Sigourney Weaver and Edie Falco, newcomers Eona Chaplin and Kate Winslet also star.
Fox had a total of four Avatar sequels in the works. As long as you’ve been waiting for a decade, an extra year or two is nothing compared to what you’ve already had to endure. After Avatar 3, Avatar 4 and Avatar 5 come in 2026 and 2028 respectively.

Thirteen years after the release of “Avatar – Aufbruch nach Pandora”, James Cameron seems to be on a mission to create new visual awe. And he’s the only one who gets it.
