The superhero genre is arguably the most popular streaming service venture these days. That’s why every streaming giant comes up with its own superhero stories. Netflix’s Raising Dion is a fresh take on the superhero genre, centering on the family drama and a mother’s journey to raise her sons. Anyone who has seen the first two seasons will be wondering what Raising Dion Season 3 is. So let’s discuss what we know about it.

Created by Carol Barbee, Raising Dion is a Netflix family superhero drama series that debuted on the streaming platform in October 2019. Based on the comic book series of the same name, the series follows Dion, a ten-year-old child with superpowers.

Is Raising Dion Season 3 Coming?

The drama series’ second season landed on Netflix on February 1, 2022, with all episodes released simultaneously. Meanwhile, regarding Raising Dion Season 3, some desperate news has surfaced. Fans of the show may not appreciate the news, but after two seasons on Netflix, Raising Dion has been cancelled. The news came as a surprise and disappointment to all fans. It was confirmed on April 26, 2022 by young cast member Sammi Haney via Instagram.

Raising Dion Season 3: What Could Have Happened?

The second season ended on a less cliffhanger than the first. Since the Crooked Man’s energy cannot be eliminated yet, it will almost certainly attempt to infect even more individuals. Even though Dion and Nicole could negate the powers of the flower at the sinkhole, the evil man’s spirit would inevitably live on to possess another victim.

Tevin will most certainly continue to serve as Dion’s formidable superhero trainer. Additionally, Raising Dion Season 3 will most likely portray Dion’s transition into adolescence. And all the troubles that come with it, as well as Nicole’s struggle to raise her heroic child. When Raising Dion Season 3 is announced, fans can expect even more action following the awesome trailer and delivery of Raising Dion Season 2.

Cast Details!

The cast of Raising Dion includes Alisha Wainwright as Nicole Reese, Ja’Siah Young as the titular Dion Warren, and Ritter as Pat Rollins. Meanwhile, the show also stars Jazmyn Simon as Kat Neese, Sammi Haney as Esperanza Jimenez, and Ali Ahn as Suzanne Wu. In addition, Griffin Faulkner as Brayden Mills, Rome Flynn as Tevin, Aubriana Davis as Janelle and Tracey Bonner as Simone.

Raising Dion Season 3

Additionally, Josh Ventura appears as David Marsh, and Michael B. Jordan portrays Dion’s father, Mark Warren. If the show returns with Raising Dion Season 3, we expect the majority of cast members to return to their roles. At the same time, we may also be introduced to some new cast members in the third season.

Why is Nicole the smartest character in the series?

Nicole’s trip is the most important element of the series. Dion’s burgeoning superpowers, Biona’s initial trepidation, and the looming threat of the Crooked Man add to her parenting worries. Nicole also mourns the loss of her late husband as she built a career.

Raising Dion Season 3

Nicole displays a wide range of intellect, from working up the dance studio to becoming a Biona mentor. She also spends time mentoring another young girl named Janelle and being a mother to Dion. When the stakes are high, Nicole is the one to expose the villains’ Achilles heel in both seasons 1 and 2.
