The highly anticipated Season 5 of The Crown will premiere exclusively on Netflix on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 3 p.m. ET. Dominic West is slated to play the major role of Prince Charles in the upcoming season 5 of The Crown.

According to Netflix’s official description for The Crown season 5:

“This fictional dramatization, based on true events, depicts the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the political and personal events that influenced her reign. It’s a new decade and the Royal Family faces what may be their toughest test yet: demonstrating their continued relevance in 1990s Britain. As Diana and Charles fight in public, cracks appear in the royal foundation.”

Ever since seeing a glimpse of actor Dominic West as Prince Charles in the official teaser for The Crown season 5, fans have been anticipating how the actor’s pivotal role will play out in the upcoming season of The Crown.

Dominic West made his professional debut in 1991

Dominic West, a well-known and beloved English singer, director and actor, began his notable acting career with the pivotal role of Joe Smoker in the 1991 short film 3 Joes. The 53-year-old English actor is best known for his roles in the popular crime drama series 2002’s The Wire, Noah Solloway in the intense 2014 drama series The Affair, Fred West in the 2011 crime drama TV film Appropriate Adult, Jean Valjean in 2018’s favorite BBC miniseries, Les Misérables, and Fred Casely in the remarkable movie Chicago from 2002.

Dominic West won the coveted British Academy Television Award for Best Actor in 2012 for his role as serial killer Fred West in Appropriate Adult. Several notable films have featured the actor, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ten Minutes Older, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Mona Lisa Smile, Hannibal Rising, 300, Punisher: War Zone, From Time to Time, Jackboots on Whitehall , Johnny English Reborn, Tomb Raider, Testament of Youth, Words of the Blitz and others. West has also been featured in a number of well-known short films. Aside from 3 Joes, his short film credits include Stingray, Hold On and Boy Cried, Wolf.

Out of Hours, The Catherine Tate Show, The Devil’s Whore, The Hour, Burton & Taylor, Revolting Rhymes, The Pursuit of Love, Stateless, Brassic and Panorama are among the other major TV shows in which he has appeared.
