California Highway Patrol officers chased after a vehicle Saturday night that led them on a chase through several counties.
The chase was first reported in San Diego County by the Escondido Police Department.
The driver, believed to be a woman, made his way to the town of Corona, where Riverside County Police Department took over the pursuit.
The chase continued on the 91 Freeway heading east into Orange County, via Yorba Linda and Anaheim.
The driver then crossed 5 Freeway toward Long Beach and LA County.
Once in LA County, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s helicopter took over the pursuit.
The driver reached Compton where they pulled into a mobile home park and drove through the narrow streets until they came to a complete stop in front of a house.
The driver calmly got out of the vehicle and tried to enter the house when officers knocked her to the ground.
The driver was subsequently arrested.
