The Dropkick on my devil! Season 3 anime will “definitely” happen in the future, according to manga creator Yukiwo. But when will Jashin-chan Dropkick Season 3 come out?

On December 8, 2021 it was officially confirmed that the Dropkick On My Devil! The Season 3 release date was set for July 2022, the Summer 2022 anime season. The goal is to “broadcast the third season in 2022” to celebrate the manga series’ 10th anniversary.

As of September 30, 2020, the anime production committee launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise 20 million yen (about $200,000 USD). They reached the fundraising goal within 33 hours and then officially announced the production decision of Jashin-chan Dropkicking Season 3.

The fundraiser ended on December 31, 2020. A total of 36,181,238 yen (about $351,100) was raised.

One campaign sponsor donated 1.1 million yen (about $10,000) and was given the opportunity to create the subtitle name for the third season! Strangely enough, the title of the third season was finally confirmed as Dropkick On My Devil!! X.

While at first glance it may sound like someone is seriously lacking in imagination, the financier said the X represents the hope that “Yurine and Jashin-chan will continue to cross paths and fight forever.” That’s why the X stands for eternal pike slashing, which fits perfectly.

A special trailer video has been made for the Dropkick On My Devil! Season 3 crowdfunding event.

The anime is being produced by animation studio Nomad, who barely managed to produce the second season, officially titled Dropkick on My Devil!! dash.

In 2018, the company hyped sales of the Blu-Ray/DVD boxsets by saying that if the “boxsets sell a lot, we can make a sequel! I’ll give you an angelic award too, so what’s the matter with you? hand?”

Executive producer Kouichirou Natsume had agreed that if the first season sold 2,000 copies before Sugoi Sabato 2019, the second season would be produced.

Box set sales barely met their target, selling a total of 2,001 copies, with the first volume selling 1,043 copies, while the second volume sold 958 copies.

So far, no similar crowdfunding effort has been announced for Dropkick On My Devil! Season 3.

A special Dropkick On My Devil! A Chitose City tax program funded Episode 12. This OVA episode was streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

The Dropkick on my devil! Season 2 opening (OP) theme song music was “Violence on Occasion” as performed by singer Halca. The ending music (ED) of the theme song was “Love Satisfaction” as performed by ZAMB.

The Dropkick on my devil! Season 3 OP will be “Arekore Drastic feat.Aina Suzuki” by halca. The ED has not yet been announced.

Crunchyroll streamed the entirety of the second season. The finale (sort of), Dropkick On My Devil! Season 2, Episode 11, was streamed on June 15, 2020. A Dropkick On My Devil! English dub has not been announced.

This article contains everything known about Dropkick On My Devil! Season 3 (Jashin-chan Dropkick Season 3) and all related news. As such, this article will be updated over time with news, rumors and analysis. In the meantime, let’s get into what is known for sure.

Dropkick on my devil! manga compared to the anime

The story for the anime is based on the Jashin-chan Dropkick manga series by manga artist Yukiwo. Published in Comic Meteor by Flex Comix since April 2012, the manga is already on volume 15 as of June 16, 2020.

The manga artist also celebrated the release of the anime’s first season by creating a spin-off manga called Mino’s 100% Beef† The series has also spawned a battle-driven RPG game

Unfortunately, no international publisher has the English translation of the Dropkick On My Devil! manga.

The Dropkick on my devil! manga series essentially follows the formula of delivering slapstick comedy sketches coupled with CGDCT (Cute Girls Doing Cute Things).

The difference is that the Jashin-chan Dropkick manga mixes this formula with sadistic monster girls and gory “neck death.”

The Dropkick On My Devil manga breaks the fourth wall and the anime just ups the ante. The characters constantly refer to episodes, manga volumesand they even say, “This is our second anime adaptation.”

There are many references to other anime such as Attack On Titan and Food Wars! Anime studio Nomad even referenced how the anime was once an Amazon exclusive by referring to Amazon Prime delivery and make Yurine’s smile the Amazon logo

The second season continued this trend by making even more references. Some of the more obvious references were to: Fullmetal AlchemistCode GeassObituarykyouko or Maison IkkokuHulk Hogansnow whitegundamand various mech anime references.

One of the references was apparently created before the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus pandemic started because it Tokyo 2020 Olympics still happening in 2020.

They also called the characters’ Jashin Channel YouTube Channelin which the voice actresses are messing around.

The main difference between the Dropkick On My Devil anime and the manga is the sequence of events. To sum up, the anime is all over the map and confusing for old manga readers.

Season 1 Episode 1 even just confused anime viewers literally saying that the “first episode is also the season finale,” as it featured events near Chapter 60.

But then episode 4 went back in time by covering chapters 26 through 29, and it was the first episode to follow the manga chapters in no particular order.

The anime jumped in the middle of the story, while the manga slowly introduced the characters over several parts.

It’s not that this kind of gag-format anime requires a detailed backstory, but it was still shocking for all the monster girls to be introduced so quickly without any context.

In comparison, the manga immediately introduced Yurine Hanazono and Jashin, Medusa in chapter 5, Pekola/Pekora in chapter 14 and Minos in chapter 38.

Many jokes from the manga chapters were used in the anime, but some of the events were original anime stories. Therefore, it is worth reading the manga from the beginning.

Dropkick on my devil! Season 2 again traveled through time by opening with a segment from manga Chapter 1. The second season episodes contained many replays via flashbacks to help make sense of the story, but it was still quite confusing.

No doubt it was possible to watch the second season without ever seeing the first season, but audiences would miss the introduction of Poporon and Persephone II.

Strangest thing was the ending in Episode 11. Rivaling Pop Team Epic because it was weird, probably only Gintama’s recap beats it for madness.

Episode 10 was the actual finale, and the characters even blatantly implied that this was the case. Episode 11 was a short recap of the entire series, paired with nine minutes of Jashin voice actress Aina Suzuki singing a national anthem.

All in all, the anime has adapted random bits of the manga series. Since the manga has hundreds of chapters and the anime has a lot of original content.

That means there’s plenty of source material for Nomad to make Dropkick On My Devil! Season 3.

Jashin-chan Dropkick Season 3 Release Date Confirmed For July 2022

As of the last update, Studio Nomad or any other company related to the anime production has the exact Dropkick On My Devil! Season 3 release date is currently raising funds and production of the third season is 100 percent confirmed.

Once the news is officially confirmed, this article will be updated with the relevant information.

In the meantime, it’s possible to speculate about when the Jashin-chan Dropkick Season 3 premiere date will be in the future.

As mentioned earlier, manga creator Yukiwo has been teasing fans about the third season. He thanked anime fans for watching, then went on to claim that they would “definitely make the third season happen” in the future.

He closed the tweet by thanking everyone again for their continued support.

Other than sales being strong at recent events, the author hasn’t said anything more about the expected time frame for the third season.

Although the third season was given the go-ahead for production after the crowdfunding event reached its goal, the official website states that “it will take more than a year to produce,” meaning Summer 2022.

Unfortunately, given the way the anime has adapted the manga by going all over the map, it’s impossible to make spoilers for Dropkick On My Devil! Season 3.

Fans will just have to wait for it to be released. Stay tuned!
