    Envato makes the cut for the 4th time as the only Australian technology company in US VC a16z’s annual Marketplace 100 ranking

    Melbourne scale-up Envato once again flies the flag for Australian technology in the annual list of the world’s top marketplaces released by a16z, the fund of legendary Californian venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.

    It is the 4th edition of a16z Marketplace 100and Envato, which remains privately owned, having been founded in 2006 in a Bondi garage by Collis and Cyan Ta’eed and Jun Rung made it every time.

    The a16z list ranks the 100 largest consumer-focused market start-ups and private companies.
