Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in Northern Minnesota
Severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect in Hubbard, Wadena and Becker counties, as well as Cass and Crow Wing, until 3 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm is in effect until 6:00 PM for Big Stone, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Todd, Traverse, Wadena and Wilkin counties.

First round of thunderstorms weakening, another possible this afternoon
The storms plaguing northern Minnesota will continue to abate as they move east into areas like Ely and Duluth.
After a few calm hours, a series of storms are expected to develop again after 3 p.m. in central Minnesota. Those storms can be severe, with damaging winds, hail and even a tornado possible.
That system will work its way into the Twin Cities, which lie on the southern edge of the highest-risk area for severe weather.
By midnight everything will calm down and we will remain silent at night.
Sunday will also be marked by high dew points and high temperatures, with a high of 90 in the Twin Cities.
Monday there is a chance of a morning shower and more scattered showers north and northeast of the metro from the afternoon. We get a dry stretch midweek before it starts to warm up.
