Fashion icon and musician Grace Jones will curate this year’s Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre
As part of the event there will also be a free public programme, which brings together a huge number of performers and activities inspired by Grace Jones’ career.

The free event will see No Signal radio DJs select the best tracks from artists across the black diaspora.
Also, part of the programme is an event inspired by the iconic 1973 photograph of Grace Jones roller-skating on Compo Beach, Roll Up To The Bumper on June 11.
It will also feature workshops and a day-long programme of music and DJ sets, spanning disco and soul to modern grime.
On June 18, is A Night of a Thousand Graces with Africa Fashion Week London, a catwalk fashion event honouring Grace Jones’ iconic looks.
Grace Jones will be performing on the closing night, although tickets have sold out.
Grace Jones’ Meltdown runs from Friday, June 10, to 19.
