HBO’s Entourage is one of the most popular comedy dramas on the network. While the series hasn’t aired in over a decade, it still has a loyal fan base waiting for Entourage Season 9. But is the wait really worth it? Will the series be revived? Let’s find out!
Entourage is an HBO comedy-drama show co-executive produced by Mark Wahlberg. It tells the story of a group of young boys as they enjoy all the delights Hollywood has to offer. Vince, Eric, Turtle and Johnny are good friends who are always seen together. As Vince’s film career takes off, these four friends begin to enjoy comforts they never expected.
The show revolves around the theme of male friendship in Hollywood, with the deep friendship between the boys showing that they are always there for each other no matter what. ‘Entourage’ continues to amaze viewers with its funny, intellectual and amazing stories.
Is Entourage Season 9 Coming?
The comedy-drama series’ first season premiered on HBO on July 24, 2011. And since then, the show has been going strong for eight long seasons. However, the show has been off-air for over a decade. However, the series’ revival for Entourage Season 9 has been talked about countless times.
Meanwhile, in 2015, the Entourage movie was released. But fans are still waiting for the ninth season. While the possibility of a next season doesn’t seem very likely at this point, fans have something to rejoice over, as creator Doug Ellin said in a 2021 interview that Entourage season 9 would one day happen.
Entourage Season 9: Cast Details!
The main cast members of the HBO comedy-drama series are Adrian Grenier in the role of Vincent Chase, Kevin Dillon as Johnny Chase and Kevin Connolly as Eric Murphy. The series also stars Jerry Ferrara as Turtle, Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold, and Perrey Reeves as Melissa Gold. Additionally, Rex Lee appears as Lloyd Lee and Scott Caan plays Scott Lavin. When the show is green-lit for Entourage Season 9, we can expect most of these cast members to return to reprise their roles.
What about Tori?
Tori, played by Malin Akerman, has one of the strongest subplots on the agenda. She is Sloane’s buddy, who later forms a threesome with Eric. E falls in love with Tori and goes out of his way to meet her and repent for minor wrongdoing. Tori thinks it’s cool, but admits she’s uncomfortable with Eric meeting her behind Sloane’s back.
This interaction comes to nothing, which is a shame because Akerman was fantastic as Tori and certainly a star big enough to regularly be in the spotlight. The interaction between her and Eric had a lot of potential. But viewers wanted more because they didn’t understand why she was brought into the story.
