ormula One takes residence in Bahrain this week for its second and final pre-season test ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Three days of running around Sakhir will reveal a better picture of how the grid will pan out in the coming months, after the first test in Barcelona last month.

Every driver will get their chance to get to grips with their new cars during the event, which runs from 7am to 4pm on Thursday, March 10 to Saturday, March 12, 2022. An hour for lunch will break up the morning and afternoon sessions.

There was no live televised coverage of the Barcelona test, so this event will be fans’ first proper glimpse of the new designs set out by each team following F1’s rule overhaul.

Mercedes were at the centre of a row over the legality of their car on day one after introducing a radical new design.

Here are the details to tune in as Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Co take to the track…

Where to watch the F1 Bahrain test

TV channel: The entire three-day test will broadcast live on Sky Sports’ Main Event and F1 channels, with coverage beginning at 6.50am GMT.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can watch the sessions unfold via the Sky Go app.
