The anime series OreGairu, known in Japanese as Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatteiru, is based on a successful light novel of the same name which was first published in 2011. The My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected is a light novel series written by Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8.
OreGairu is a popular romantic comedy anime series with a slice of life elements loved by people around the world, which follows Hachiman Hikigaya, an apathetic high school student with narcissistic and semi-nihilistic tendencies. He firmly believes that joyful childhood is nothing but a farce, and anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves.
The anime television series OreGairu has only had three seasons so far with 2 OVAs directed by Ai Yoshimura and Kei Oikawa animated by Studios brain base and To feel† There’s no word on whether the studio or director will return for OreGairu s4.
The first 13-episode OreGairu television anime series premiered in Japan in April 2013. Since then, this series has amassed a sizable fan base who are still waiting for OreGairu Season 4 Episode 1 or if there will be some sort of continuation.

Is OreGairu Season 4 Coming?
OreGairu Season 4 will almost certainly never take place. The main reason is that the third season was called the climax. It adapted all parts of the story at the end. That means there’s nothing left to use for OreGairu Season 4. This series has already received a full overhaul, and all that’s left are some bonus light novels that came with Blu-Rays.
OreGairu was a hugely popular anime adaptation. On average, each season of OreGairu sold about 11,000 copies of Blu-ray per disc, which is excellent. The light novels also fared well, with each volume selling over 150,000 copies. This series has also inspired a slew of merchandise, including about 70 figures.
That’s why the bonus light novels have already been adapted into OVAs, with the latest in 2022. It will be released with a new game for this series. I doubt we’ll ever get anything for this franchise again after that. Unless, of course, the author decides to continue the series somehow.

OreGairu Season 4 Release Date
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Season 4 has no official release date as the fourth season has never been confirmed, canceled or announced, so there will be no countdown. Given that the final season was labeled “final”, I also believe that OreGairu season 4 will never get a release date.
If there was enough content left for another season, I think the release date of OreGairu season 4 would be a matter of time† However, since the light novels have been completed and the anime has adapted all the available material, a new season is only conceivable if the author decides to continue this series.
We will update this article if there is any news or release date for a new anime project for OreGairu announced on the OreGairu official Twitter account† All you can do now is wait for the last OVA or start reading the light novels because while the anime hasn’t skipped much, the light novels still have more substance.

Final Thoughts on OreGairu Season 4
Many anime fans would be happy if an OreGairu anime season 4 was announced, but the most likely outcome is that we’ll only get the final third OVA. This is one of those series where it’s easy to predict that there won’t be a new season. However, since it sold well, the author may decide to make a sequel.
