Friends creator Marta Kaufmann created another heartwarming comedic drama, Grace and Frankie, in May 2015. Netflix’s Grace and Frankie follows the lives of Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein after their husbands decide to spend their lives together. Since the seventh season premiered, fans have been waiting for Grace and Frankie season 8. But will the show return? Let’s see.

How Frankie and Grace’s Storyline Ended

The whole program revolved around two very different ladies coming together to help each other in their moment of need. And, as the conclusion showed, despite their dating and extracurricular interests, all they really needed was each other. Sure, there were occasions when Grace and Frankie should have served time in prison. Despite their antics, they were a great match.

Netflix

The show ended because they didn’t want to live without each other after a near-death experience and a Dolly Parton performance. Even when they got on each other’s nerves, they loved each other’s company. It was nice to see how strongly they had become attached.

Is Grace and Frankie Season 8 Coming?

The seventh season of Grace and Frankie will be released on Netflix on August 13, 2021. And sadly, we’d like to let fans know that the show has ended its seventh season. That’s why it won’t come back with the first season.

Grace and Frankie Season 8

In January 2020, showrunner Marta Kaufmann stated: “Netflix doesn’t do long-term series anymore. And we’re really lucky that we got the seventh season. I think when we started, we envisioned seven seasons. But really, this is the kind of decision that from Netflix.” In another interview in April 2022, Marta said: “I think it would be hard to sell Grace and Frankie now. It’s a little scary that at a certain age there might not be more shows with women.”

Robert and Sol deal with Robert’s amnesia

Robert and Sol’s personalities reflect a way Grace and Frankie crossed boundaries, and it was a sad but bittersweet finale for them. Robert’s amnesia became more and more apparent, and it got worse. Despite the lack of a formal diagnosis, Robert eventually accepted what happened to him and agreed to get tested.

Sol showed his love for his wife by acting quickly to help Robert and even hiding the seriousness of his position from his family and fellow theater performers. Bringing Robert back to the first time they took their first steps toward love was a nice way to rekindle Robert’s memory before it faded.

Why is Grace and Frankie’s the best relationship on the show?

Grace and Frankie Season 8

Although they were not in a romantic relationship, Grace and Frankie had a bond unlike any other couple on the program, married, romantic or otherwise. Without the other, neither can continue. When something goes wrong in their lives, they turn to each other for support. Be it a romantic, professional, family related or personal issue.

Living together made them extremely happy, knowing that they would spend their last years together in a house by the sea with a firecracker. The bond between Grace and Frankie is so pure and honest that they get roommate goals and friendship aspirations.
