Mieruko Chan season 2 is arguably the most highly anticipated sequel of all time. With the first season set to premiere in October 2021, little was expected of the Passione effort. But as the season progressed, many were surprised by what had happened. The debut season of this horror comedy rocketed to the top of the 2021 fall schedule in less than two months. Soon the buzz surrounding Mieruko Chan Season 2 became contagious. So, how’s the second season going? Is it making a comeback? Below is everything you need to know about returns.

Tomoki Izumi is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Mieruko-chan. It began serialization online in November 2018 through Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website, with six tank receipt volumes available to date.

Miko Yotsuya, a high school student, has the unfortunate ability to see terrifying ghosts and ghouls tormenting her and everyone around her. Despite this, Miko makes a concerted effort to deny the presence of ghosts and maintain a normal high school life.

Will there be a Mieruko Chan season 2?

Even if Mieruko Chan Season 2 isn’t announced until 2023, we should be warned. The first season was excellent work by Studio Passione. It’s unlikely they won’t be able to make a second season in 2023 as they don’t appear to be overstretched.

Mieruko Chan Season 2 Release Date:

Season 2 of MierukoChan has not yet been released. However, we should be hearing more about MierukoChan’s second season in 2022.

Season 2 of Mieruko Chau will premiere in 2023. There is plenty of source material for a second season. The series appears to have been well received. This series has a large following on social media. Nearly 100,000 people follow the official Twitter account. This means that streaming has generated revenue, which is critical to the potential of a new season in 2022. A new season of Mieruko Chan is likely to be made, but we’ll have to wait as the series recently ended.

On average, it takes two years for a one-hour series to earn a second season. The year 2023 seems like a suitable release date.

The first season was excellent work by Studio Passione. It’s unlikely they won’t be able to make a second season in 2023 as they don’t appear to be overstretched.

It is quite unlikely that Kadokawa will announce the second season of 2023 or this year. We can only hope for the best.

Mieruko Chan’s Season 2 Plot

The plot of the show revolves around Miko Yotsuya, a high school student who has an amazing and hopeless ability to see aliens. After seeking help from a psychic host of a television show in an attempt to end her problems, she discovers that the only way to do this is to completely ignore them as if they never existed. However, all this comes at the cost of her fear, as she has to act normally, despite being scared to her core.

Mieruko Chan summary

Mieruko Chan’s pilot season spends most of its time introducing the characters with whom viewers will spend the next twelve episodes. The first two episodes outline this horror world, starting with the introduction of the main characters and ending with the world around them. For example, Miko is the heroine who one day begins to notice ghost creatures around her. And this remains the central theme of the season. After spending most of the season focusing on recognizing ghosts and trying to avoid them unscathed, the focus shifts in the finale.

Zen, a good friend of Miko, discovers that someone is destroying the cats and kittens nearby. Miko initially blamed Zen, but later found out that the cats were being attacked by the ghost of Zen’s late mother. As a result, Miko requested the virgin shrine to permanently expel the ghost. Miko was left with her vision and without the help of the Virgin Shrine at the end of the first season.
