ll live TV has been pulled from ITV on Thursday amid reports of a security incident.
Police are responding to a security alert nearby the TV studios as White City and Wood Lane stations are closed.
Transport for London tweeted: “White City and Wood Lane stations closed: While the police respond to a security alert outside the station.”
This Morning viewers were confused when it returned from an advert break with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield saying they couldn’t be with viewers live today in what appeared to be a pre-recorded segment.
It was followed with a pre-recorded episode of Loose Women.
Social media was awash with fans confused about why the live TV segment was pulled.
Among the comments, one person wrote: “@thismorning Erm… what happened? Was watching and looking forward to the gadget game and the show suddenly switched to a prerecorded set. Not even a comment in the ad break to explain…”
