Tomorrow Episode 7 Preview: What Happens Next?
The upcoming episode will send the death angels on another angel to save a poor soul from suicide. In addition, we will also get a glimpse of Joong-Gil and Ryeon’s past. The two obviously have some tensions between them and we’ll find out the reason behind it in the Tomorrow Ep 7. Furthermore, Jun-Woong could save lives by trying to set off a bomb.

The previous episode of Tomorrow was titled “A Soul Becomes A Star”. The King of Heaven ordered Ryeon to rescue a 91-year-old war veteran Lee Young-Chun who wanted to commit suicide. The king wanted Ryeon to remind Young of the meaning of life and convince him to live. Ryeon briefed the team on the mission. it was revealed that Ryeon had been with the team since the Qing invasion of Joseon.
Next, the trio went to Young-Chun’s house, and Jun-Woong went out to get some cleaning supplies and ran into the old man. Hun-woong was carrying the old man’s cart when they encountered a group of mobsters. They harassed the old man and asked him to move. Jung-Woon again broke the rule of non-interference and attacked and knocked out the mobsters.
Moreover, in Tomorrow Ep 6, Ryung-Gu told Young-Chun that they were reapers and told the old man that he would die the next day. Young-Chu revealed that he was a Korean War veteran with no family. His neighbor died and was found decomposing in his house. Young-Chun didn’t want to die the same way, so he planned to kill himself. The trio made Young-Chun’s last day memorable by helping him with the trash at the junkyard. The old man was under pressure because he barely made a living, while the goon regularly harassed him because of rising real estate prices.
The trio finds out about Young-Chun’s life as the King of Heaven appears to be taking him with him
In a flashback, a young Young-Chun joined the horrific war. He was caught between the sound of explosions, smoke, and the chilling smell of death all around him. Young-Chun befriended a fellow soldier Dong-Chil. However, the friend was hit in the leg and Young-chun saved his life. However, Dong-Chil accused Young-Chun of taking a noble death away from him. He asked Young-Chun to leave.
Unfortunately, Young-Chun found his house destroyed and his mother disappeared. Struggling for years with the trauma of war, Young-Chun resorted to a job as a garbage collector. Ryong-Gu recognized that wars are also difficult for the harvesters. He has to collect so many dead souls and bring them to the right place. Young-Chun felt that his life was worthless and that he had nothing left to live for.
Elsewhere, Ryeong took Young-Chun to the highest point in Seoul. They looked at the city, and she remembered that it was all possible thanks to Young-Chun’s contributions.
