Maria and Cavani were sweethearts in high school

Maria and Cavani met as teenagers and dated for many years before getting married in 2007. Their marriage produced two boys, the older Bautista, born March 22, 2011, and the younger Lucas, born March 8, 2013. Even before the birth of their second son, Lucas, the couple’s marriage broke up. They broke up in 2013, and their divorce was finalized in 2014. Cavani officially announced his separation from his wife, explaining that “they broke up after months of deep turmoil in their marriage.”

Cavani had to stay in Naples for professional reasons while Maria Soledad returned to South America to give birth. After stating that divorce is always difficult, he further stated that he was divorcing his wife, not his children, and that he has always acted clearly and firmly with them and fulfilled his obligations to them. He also promised them that their children would get everything they need now and in the future.

She stated that her husband’s adultery was the cause of their divorce.

Maria Soledad claimed in an interview in 2014 that the basis for her divorce from her then-husband Cavani was her husband’s adultery. She said she didn’t trust Cavani and asked if they expected her to trust a husband who abandoned his wife just days after the birth of their child. Cavani, she claimed, was with another woman when their son Lucas was born.

Cavani also insisted on giving birth in Uruguay, stating that it would be quieter than giving birth in Naples, where he would be under siege. He wanted to leave her there, she said, so he could feel free while she worked on their new home. When she returned, she did everything she could to save their marriage, as she didn’t want her children to grow apart from their father. Still, things didn’t go as planned, as Cavani was transformed into a new and unrecognizable person at the time.

Who was Cavani having an affair with when they were still married?

Cavani was caught with an Italian journalist named Maria Rosario Ventrone putting his arm around her while playing for Naples, and word of their affair quickly spread. However, his bond with her lasted less than a year. Ventrone, who was 22 at the time, claimed in an interview that Cavani left her just nine months after they moved in together. Cavani, she added, was quite jealous and possessive, while Ventrone was still trying to figure out why they broke up.

Ventrone explained in another interview how she met Cavani and how it all started. Ventrone first saw Cavani in training in 2012. According to Ventrone, while her friends fantasized about Beckham, she fantasized about Cavani since his first impression attracted her. In an interview, she described him as “nice, with strong morals, and different from everyone else.” Ventrone came to him moments later, when they had finished shooting, to ask for the garment. He approached her by the vehicle after leaving the locker room and handed her a shirt, told her there was something more in it and asked her to see it later. There was his phone number and then the dialogue started.

She recalled that Cavani had told her that his wife, Maria Soledad, was coming to Uruguay and that she wanted to see him, and she told him she wouldn’t be out on the streets overnight. But then it stopped, she said. She had left again since she knew his relationship with his wife, Maria Soledad, was not going well.

He made her think she was the first person he’d ever loved. Cavani traveled to Uruguay in late 2012 when Maria Soledad was expecting her second child, but when he returned he was with his mother, not his wife. He also invited her parents to the meal and revealed to them that she adores their child. Cavani and Ventrone then moved in together. Cavani’s departure from Naples for Paris strained their friendship. He became jealous and forbade her to talk to anyone. They stopped at the end of August.

Cavani has made progress with his new partner.

Cavani is currently engaged to his girlfriend, Jocelyn Burgardt. The couple have two children: a girl in India, born in 2019, and a boy in Silvestre, due in June 2021. However, the couple has yet to get married.

The wealth of Maria Soledad

As of now, we know the net worth of her ex-husband and father of her two boys, Edinson, a very renowned athlete. He has an extravagant net worth of $40 million.
