Marvel Studios Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness revealed many characters. In the comics, the members of the Illuminati include Iron Man, Professor X, Black Panther, Namor, Black Bolt, and Doctor Strange. In this movie they didn’t do a comically accurate Illuminati, but the screenwriter of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that Micheal Waldron talked about Namor the Sub-Mariner† Marvel removed Namor from the Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as this character has other plans in Marvel.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one of the epic movies in Phase 4. This movie has breathtaking action, suspense, thrills and most importantly cameos. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is also known for the Earth-838 cameos. In that earth we get to see Jon Krasinski as Reed Richards, Lashana Lynch as Captain Marvel, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Master Mordo, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter and Anson Mount as Black Bolt. But in comics, Namor was a pivotal member of the Illuminati. But in this movie we didn’t get to see Namor the Sub-mariner. Michael Waldron has told Namor that Marvel had other plans for that character. As we all know, Namor will debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which will be published in November 2022.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness screenwriter Michael Waldron shared in an interview that he had ideas about the possible inclusion of Namor, but Marvel has some other plans for him. His words are listed below.

“We talked about him because he is definitely an original member of the Illuminati. But I think Marvel has other plans for him in the MCU. And so he didn’t find his way into this particular movie.”

About Namor

Namor was created by Bill Everett. Namor the submarine first appeared in the Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 in April 1939. He was the first anti-hero in the Marvel comics. The name Namor means “avenging son”. Namor the submarine is alternately loved and hated by the population of the Earth’s surface, often depending on his actions at once. He is also known as the king of the seas and the first mutant.

Fans loved the character Namor. He was also called the submarine. He will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Fans can’t wait to see him in action. In Doctor Strange, in the Multiverse of Madness, we get to see Illuminati. The members of the Illuminati were Karl Mordo, Professor X, Reed Richards, Captain Carter, Captain Marvel and Black Bolt. In comics, Namor was an important member of the Illuminati, but he was missing in this film. The screenwriter for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness said MCU has other plans for Namor. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now in theaters.
