Megan Thee Stallion spoke on Friday about a break-in at her LA home as she prepares to host Saturday Night Live.
The break-in, first reported by TMZhappened Thursday night when two men broke into a glass door at the back of the 27-year-old rapper’s home in LA and made off with money, jewelry and electronics.
According to TMZ, the rapper was not at home when this happened.
The “Savage” rapper is currently in New York City, where she resides to host SNL and perform as musical guest on October 15.
Requests for comment from Thee Stallion’s team were not immediately answered, but the star apparently tweeted about the incident on Friday.
“Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe,” the star wrote in the tweet, featuring a heart emoji and prayer hands.
The Los Angeles Police Department was unable to confirm the break-in or provide any information, including whether there are any suspects in custody.
Five minutes after her tweet about the incident, Thee Stallion told fans she needed a break.
“Hotties, I’m really sorry, but after SNL I really need to take a break, I’m so tired, physically and emotionally,” she wrote.
