A 57-year-old man has died after his motorcycle and a van collided.
Police were called at around 6.30am on Wednesday, March 2 to Rochester Way in Greenwich to reports of a crash.
Medics from the London Ambulance Service and the London’s Air Ambulance were also called to the scene.
The rider of the motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene at around 7.15am. His family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the van stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
They would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision, or captured it on dashcam.
