Motu Patluc celebrate a decade of friendship.

The classic cartoon series revolves around two friends named Motu and Patlu, who live in a fictional town called Furfuri Nagar.

Motu Patluc today reaches more than 289 million viewers in seven languages ​​across India, claims Nickelodeon. The show is among the top five shows on the channel, contributing 45% of Nickelodeon’s overall rating.

Motu Patluc has more than 1,000 stories to its name in 560 episodes, 25 movies and more than 20 games on iOS and Android.

They are also the first Indian duo of animated characters to have their statue in Madame Tussauds, Delhi. It was the fourth most searched show in the world in 2018 on Google Trends.

“Besides being an exemplary feat of great storytelling, it’s the kindness and recognizable camaraderie that made the duo a runway hit,” said Anu Sikka, creative, content & research, Kids TV Network, Viacom18.

To celebrate ten years
Motu Patlucthe channel has also launched a dance challenge, giving viewers the chance to appear on Nickelodeon’s social media pages.

Nickelodeon India leads the viewership in the children’s category with household availability in approximately 120 million households in eight languages.
