The Rookie Season 4 Episode 19, titled “Simone”, directed Liz Friedlander, while Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter wrote it. The episode will be a two-episode event. It will help build a storyline for the FBI-focused spin-off starring Niecy Nash. Furthermore, at the beginning of May, further investigations will be conducted into what will happen in this episode. Agent Nolan and Simone Clark, an intern in the FBI’s LA division, team up. They suspect a former student is behind the terrorism.
Nolan and his colleague go to check a local power plant, where they find a series of bombs placed there. However, the explosion takes place before they attempt to scatter the bombs. Fortunately, both Nolan and his colleague seem safe. But now they have to find out who’s behind this. Simone joins them to help in this case. Soon, Nolan was assigned to work with Simone where they appeared to bond in The Rookie Season 4 Episode 19.

The previous episode, titled “Backstabbers,” saw James and Harper’s proposal and their marriage. Later, Nolan, Badger, Chen and Harper try to solve a train theft case. No one thought Gray Grunberg would return as Badger, but Gray’s presence made the episode memorable. It’s quite surprising to see a man who fired into the station and was eventually fired on his first day somehow managed to become a sergeant.
Badger proved himself worthy of the position through his wit and keen instincts. However, it was quite difficult for him to earn this position after his stupid mistake. Meanwhile, Harper and Angela did their best to give Badger a hard time. Harper didn’t support Badger at first until he proved he was valuable. Elsewhere, Nolan had to deal with his array of problems. Nolan knows how hard it is to win people over after being judged.
