Nothing, the consumer technology startup led by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, has revealed the back design of its debut Phone 1 smartphone. “Leaks are harder to control these days and many of you have been waiting for a long time,” Pei wrote in a tweet† “So here it is.” The phone is expected to be announced on July 12 at the next Nothing’s event.
The image confirms some design rumors circulating around the phone. As Pei previously confirmed: The edge in an interview, the phone has glowing light strips on the back of the phone, which appear to be made of transparent material. The arrangement of these light strips was plagued by nothing at a previous event. Interestingly, in the middle of the back of the phone there is a logo, which almost resembles the silhouette of a cartoon bomb.
Other confirmed specs of the phone include a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, wireless charging, and a modified version of Android called Nothing OS. No doubt nothing is going to slowly reveal more details ahead of the phone’s official announcement next month.
