What is the Season 3 Release Date of “The Owl House”?
Season 3 of “The Owl House” hits your screen this week. The show will air on October 15, 2022 at 9 p.m. ET on DisneyNow. Unlike the previous two seasons, this season will feature three episodes of 44 minutes each. That’s the equivalent of last season’s six episodes.
In addition, S3 is also the final season of the show. Most cast members will return for the new season. Sarah Nicole Robles will reprise her character from Luz Noceda, while Wendie Malick will star as Eda. Other cast members include Tati Gabrielle, Zeno Robinson, Michaela Dietz, Avi Roque, Issac Ryan Brown, Fryda Wolff, and Elizabeth Grullon.
Why did Disney cancel the show?
Although season 3 of The Owl House has returned, fans aren’t happy to hear that it’s the last season. Disney canceled the series because it “didn’t fit the brand”. Nevertheless, the series attracted a lot of attention due to its diverse cast and innovative story. It has quickly come into the limelight for its inclusion of queer relationships and the female lead. Unfortunately, after the third season, the show will be canceled and the episode duration will also be shortened.
