Prince Andew may have avoided trial by settling out of court with accuser Virginia Giuffre last week but he hasn’t escaped one of London’s most feared fates – Traitors’ Gate.

Last weekend the prince, played by an actor, joined the London Dungeon’s cast aboard a ride which escorts traitors of the realm to the Tower of London.

He was joined by Prince Charles whose charity has recently made headlines with a ‘cash for honours’ controversy.

The royal Duke and future King joined the Southbank attraction’s cast aboard the Tyrant Boat Ride.

Guests on the London Dungeon ride usually join Anne Boleyn on her final journey along the Thames to Traitors’ Gate after being sentenced by King Henry VIII, to meet their fate.

Passengers face intense darkness, choppy waters, scurries of rats and the foul stench of sewage.

A spokesperson for the London Dungeon said, “If we can learn anything from history, it’s that very naughty Prince’s should be sent straight to the tower.

“In the absence of Her Majesty, the London Dungeon has taken it upon itself to task Henry VIII, a monarch famous for his liberal use of the tower to teach these two a valuable lesson.”
