Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why is one of the most popular teen dramas on the platform. Based on Jay Asher’s novel of the same name, the show has been praised by critics for its portrayal of sensitive topics such as suicide and sexual assault. The fourth season of the series was released on the streaming service in June 2020. After binging all four seasons, fans were curious about the possibility of 13 Reasons Why season 5.
Will There Be 13 Reasons Why Season 5?
Netflix has released the full fourth season of the teen drama series 13 Reasons Why on June 5, 2020. As for the 13 Reasons Why season 5 probability, it’s unfortunately not going ahead. Before the release of the fourth season, the series’ creators confirmed that this would be the final installment in the story. The makers have not indicated why the series is ending. But according to reports, the massive decline in popularity of the series’ third and fourth seasons has played a part.
About the end of the series after season 4, showrunner Brian Yorkey said, “I’m always a little suspicious of high school programs that go beyond four seasons. This is because high school lasts four years.” He also added, “So if high school shows somehow get to be seven and eight seasons long. Don’t get me wrong, I watch them all. But I tend to get a little suspicious of something that started out as a high school show.”

After returning from prom, Liberty High students are ready to party. Anyway, their excitement is short lived when they learn that Justin Foley is very ill. We see that he is slowly approaching death, and no one can help him. Clay, whose condition improved after finding his dissociation problem, descends again into grief and trauma and is nearly killed. On the other hand, Winston found the truth he was looking for. However, revealing it is more difficult than he imagined.
Are Tyler and Estela Dating?
Over the course of the series, Tyler Down’s character has gone through massive ups and downs in his Liberty High years. From the weird yearbook guy in the first season to sexual harassment. He almost took violent measures to get revenge at the end of the second season. However, he was talked out of it by Clay and his friends. In the third season, Tyler was finally on the mend and starting to live a little.
Tyler’s friendship with Monty’s younger sister, Estela, in season three has been a major factor in his healing journey. Despite some people finding their friendship weird, the two became each other’s support system. Tyler asked Estela to accompany him to the prom, and she gladly accepted. This has left many fans wondering if they are more than friends or if a romance is blossoming between the two.
Will the group reunite in 13 Reasons Why Season 5?
One of the loveliest things about the 13 Reasons Why series is the friendships between the students of Liberty High and how they stuck together through hard times. In the series finale, there was a heartwarming moment when the original group got together and decided to move on with their lives after burying Hannah’s confession tapes.
After that, the group discusses their future among themselves and hopes to get in touch. The heartbreaking gesture gave fans a final moment of emotions raging through it. Watching the teens progress in their lives after everything they’ve been through in recent years brought tears to the fans. But the final also left us with a question in mind. Will the whole group still see each other, if they couldn’t stay together if they were all in one school.
Will Jessica and Deigo end up together?
As if pairing Jess with Diego wasn’t terrible enough this season, the writers chose to insinuate that now that Justin is gone, Jess and Diego might end up together. While the clue is there, because Jess is still sad, viewers aren’t getting a definitive answer. This seems to be another question that the writers have delegated to the fans to answer.
