When will Warcraft Arclight Rumble be released?
Warcraft Arclight Rumble, defined by the Blizzard developers as “joyful chaos”, will feature numerous modes and elements of different game styles, from a PvE campaign to the cooperative raids, PvP modes and even a league system. To personalize your playstyle, you can choose from five families, including the Horde and Alliance, and over 65 characters in the form of ‘minis’. More details on everything the game has to offer will be revealed in the coming weeks and months leading up to its release.
Depending on the developers, one of their main inspirations was the tower defense games, but “it’s more [their] style to play a tower offensive game.” In addition to protecting your base, you can attack the opponent’s base and claim neutral objectives such as encountering rocks and shinies that will help you to win.
In other words, the game has fascinating graphics that seem to mimic the look of a carved mini-tabletop. So much so that they actually ran with that theme – the more than 65 collectible leaders in the game are called Minis on the authorized site. There will be tons of modes for players to enjoy, from PVE missions to PVP to heists and of course if there is a raid context there should be guilds too.
The units available to play are divided into five families. The Alliance specifies defensive units and spells, the Horde aim to overwhelm their enemies, the Blackrock with their fire-based abilities, the Undead who can draw more minions to the battlefield, and Beasts who will bring a stampede to fight. The strategic part of the game is the challenge of mixing and matching these families to defeat your opponent.
According to the developers, the tower defense games were an important source of inspiration, but “doing a tower defense game is more [their] style.” In addition, you can break out your opponent’s base to grab neutral targets such as encountering rocks and glimmers that will aid you in your victory mission.
Warcraft Arclight Rumble Release Date
Blizzard has not yet released a release date or even a more accurate timeline for when the game will be available. At this point, the only information available is that the game will be released in its entirety by the end of 2022, with a closed beta “coming to selected places soon,” according to the game’s developers. The release date of the closed beta has not been disclosed, although it is predicted to take place in the coming months.

Warcraft Arclight Rumble: Beta Info
The only concern for the Warcraft Rumble beta is that it’s “starting soon”. Both the livestream reveal and marketing materials were quick to fail to give solid data.
Registering for Warcraft Arclight Rumble beta and the full release seem to be one and the same in terms of procedures. You can sign up for the game here. If you’re in one of the nominated beta regions and chose to participate, you’ll likely receive a download notification when the test goes live.
You can pre-register on Google Play through the website or your phone/tablet, or through the Battle.net account you use classically to play other Activision Blizzard games. However, the iOS/iPhone registrations are not live yet.
Warcraft Arclight Rumble offers single player progression, multiplayer PVP matches, Guild systems, vaults and co-op raids. We’ll have to wait for the next gameplay reveal to really understand what half of such modes mean, but it’s already been observing as if game won’t be a one-off release.
We will have more about the Warcraft Arclight Mobile as its announcements. Until then, learn what we know about the upcoming Warcraft Dragonflight expansion and the return of the Wrath of the Lich King Classic later in the year.
