India’s largest telecom operator, Reliance Jio, is reportedly facing a service outage as users across the country have claimed they cannot call and message from their Jio number.
Jio users have taken to social media platforms like Twitter to complain about the service outage affecting Jio. While the majority of users claim that they cannot make calls or text messages, a few users have also claimed that they have a problem with their mobile internet.
Downdetector, a popular website that finds outages on websites and applications, has reported a huge spike in reports about Jio being down. 38% of users who
reported one issue claimed they have no signal on their device, while 37% reported being unable to make calls.

The outage is reportedly affecting only a subset of users and several users have claimed that their services are not affected.
