According to the special video released for the announcement, the voice actors of these characters could be seen – Kazuya, Chizuru, Ruka, Mami, Sumi and Nagomi. The cast will likely return for next season, although there’s no official cast release or updates on the show yet. There have been no updates for the team either, so chances are the team would be the same.

Before the season 1 finale was streamed internationally, it was announced that production on a second season has started. On February 28, 2021, it was announced that Rent a Girlfriend Season 2 will premiere in 2022 at a special stage event.

Rent a Girlfriend Season 2 would hopefully show some more development in the story and the feelings of the characters.
