ctress Selma Blair has been granted a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend after claiming he physically attacked her while she was at her home in Los Angeles.
The Cruel Intentions and Legally Blonde star, 49, alleged ex-boyfriend Ronald Carlson attacked her last month, shortly after they ended their long-term relationship, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.
The documents said Carlson was at Blair’s house returning a TV set after she had just finished a multiple sclerosis treatment, leaving her feeling quite weak.
She claimed that Carlson, 52, lunged at her, jumped on top of her body and then began to strangle her.
She was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment after the incident, the documents state.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted Blair’s restraining order on 25 February.
Carlson later filed for his own restraining order, which was denied.
