Krishnakumar Kunnath, known as KK, is one of the most enigmatic singers in India. The 53-year-old singer is known for singing cult classics like Dil Ibaadat, Ankhon Mein Teri, Woh Lamhe and many more. KK performed at a concert on May 30 and 31, 2022 in Kolkata’s Nazrul Manch for Vivekananda College and Gurudas Mahavidyalaya respectively. But after his performance, he went back to the Grand Hotel, where he stayed because of becoming unwell. Later, when he was taken to the CMRI, he was found to have died. The news came as a big shock to his fans and his colleagues.
The news spread like wildfire and many thought it was just another viral hoax and didn’t believe it. But shortly after the West Bengal Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, Mr Arup Biswas confirmed the news is true. As of now, it is known that he felt unwell while performing at the concert itself. Nobody expected this to happen and the event has saddened the entire music industry.
