Sony’s DualSense Edge wireless controller for PS5 is now available for pre-order from the PlayStation Direct website prior to its January 26 release. The controller is packed with extra features that you won’t find on the standard DualSense, such as interchangeable joysticks and two back buttons. But it costs $199.99, which is almost three times the price of a standard DualSense controller.

For that dazzling price, Sony adds quite a few extras to help you customize your DualSense Edge. You get:

Here’s what you get for your $199.99.

You can’t just customize the hardware. Sony lets you remap buttons, adjust stick sensitivity and dead zones, save multiple control profiles to switch between, and adjust game volume right from the controller. I look forward to messing with it; I saw myself customizing a specific controller profile for my Fortnite sessions and switching when I jump into a more single player oriented game like God of War Ragnarok. (Unfortunately, the controller won’t be out in time for that game’s launch on November 9.)

Sony’s replacement stick modules for the Edge are also available to pre-order, though they’re also pricey: a single costs $19.99. But if the DualSense line is your favorite way to play games, the Edge’s initial cost may be worth it so you can replace joysticks that cause drift or other issues rather than having to spend money on new controllers over and over again. .
