Several League Two clubs, including Swindon and Crawley Town, are believed to be monitoring Corie Andrews.

The South London Press understands that the forward is set to be available on a free transfer this summer after leaving AFC Wimbledon.

Hartlepool, Harrogate and Newport County are also believed to be keeping tabs on Andrews, along with National League winners Stockport.

The 24-year-old, who came through the ranks at Crystal Palace and won the club’s academy Player of the Year in 2014, joined the Dons in January 2021 after scoring nine goals in 11 appearances for Isthmian League Premier Division side Kingstonian.

Despite not featuring for Wimbledon in a professional capacity during his year-and-a-half at Plough Lane, Andrews bagged nine goals in 20 appearances during his six months on loan with National League side Aldershot at the beginning of the season.

His form in front of goal earned him another loan move at the start of January to League Two side Colchester United.

But Hayden Mullins, who brought Andrews to the U’s, was sacked just three games into his time with the club.

Andrews made one start and was used sporadically off the bench following Wayne Brown’s appointment.

Andrews was close to joining Crawley in January before signing with Colchester.

Wimbledon were relegated to League Two this season after failing to record a win in 27 games in all competitions.

They recently appointed former Charlton Athletic manager Johnnie Jackson as Mark Bowen’s replacement.
