The Curse Of Oak Island Season 9 Episode 22 Preview: What Happens Next?

The Curse Of Oak Island Season 9 Episode 22, titled “Yes We Can”, picks up where it left off. The team digs deeper into the swamp to find more clues. From the start, the team has been stuck with the theory that a ship may have been buried in the swamp. That was to unload the treasure. Now that they find the wooden block in the latest episode, it suggests that their theory may be correct. So it requires them to continue their digging to discover the mystery behind the hard layers.

Meanwhile, as winter approaches, they must speed up to complete their digging plan in the money pit. They found coconut fiber there, then a wooden block and now some hard layers. Looks like they are close to unearthing the treasure. On the other hand, the Templar leader will leave the team members to prepare for even more expeditions. They will again find some clues that will bring them closer to their treasure hunt.

A quick summary!

The Curse Of Oak Island Season 9 Episode 22, titled “A Lot Of Secrets”, dealt with a new mystery. The legendary Dan Blankenship soon identified a series of tunnels made up of nonferrous metals such as gold and silver. However, Dan couldn’t find it again because they didn’t have access to that borehole drill. They dug only two boreholes, while Dough Crowell accepted that they had to dig 16 holes to get the appropriate result. Unfortunately, they suffered disappointment when geologist Terry Matheson revealed that they couldn’t make tunnels there.

This is because the ground in front of the tunnels is unstable. However, Barringer concluded that they would explore the site later. But things finally got fruity when we saw the boys digging at the edge of the swamp. Billy Gerhardt brought a bucket and scooped out the soil, which they had never done before. The team later revealed that they were looking for some evidence of a wharf generally used to unload treasure. Later, Billy’s digger retrieved a piece of wood that they conclude belongs to a ship.

However, Billy’s digger concluded that they couldn’t dig any deeper because a large object was buried underground, preventing their giant bucket from going any further down. Rick told his colleagues to find out what was there at all costs. The team thinks they can find a ship in the swamp. Well, throughout the show, the team has stuck with the theory that an old ship is buried in the swamp, and now they’re closer to excavating it.
