That’s why we’ve put together this list of the best deals on noise canceling headphones. Here you will find all kinds of on-ear and over-ear headphones for sale, all of which are designed to eliminate outside noise, but have their own strengths and weaknesses. And if you’d like to do even more research before making a purchase decision, we’ve put together a guide to the best noise canceling headphones to help you decide which one is right for you.
Bose QuietComfort 45 offers
Bose QuietComfort 45s, our pick for the most comfortable noise-cancelling headphones, are a pair that frequent travelers will love. They’re lightweight and foldable so you can easily carry them with you, and ear fatigue is unlikely, thanks to their oval ear cups. The battery life is now 24 hours too, meaning you don’t have to worry about constantly charging them. The new transparency mode, meanwhile, comes in handy when you need to be more aware of your surroundings, such as when you’re about to cross the street, while a firmware update introduced earlier this year allows you to see the bass, mid-range, and other aspects of the EQ. The USB-C equipped headphones don’t offer the same bass response as Sony’s 1000XM4s, but if comfort is what you’re after, the QC45 offers that in abundance.
The Bose QuietComfort 45s costs $329 and there are currently no discounts available. However, Bose gets a 15 percent discount when you purchase two QC45s, two Sport Earbuds or one pair of QC45 and one pair of Sport Earbuds, the discount will be applied to the item of equal or lesser value. Please note that you must purchase the two devices in the same order. Read our review.

The headphones work seamlessly with other Apple devices and they sound fantastic, especially when combined with Apple’s spatial audio feature, which provides a more immersive experience when listening to or watching compatible content. They also praise the best transparency mode of all the headphones on our list, and they have an incredible build quality thanks to a luxurious design that opts for aluminum, steel and fabric instead of plastic.

The headphones also offer intuitive rotary controls for both volume and noise cancellation, as well as improved sound quality and battery life over their predecessor. While Microsoft’s noise-cancelling technology isn’t as effective as Bose and Sony’s, the Surface Headphones 2 still muffle outside noise enough so you can focus.

Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II offers
If the newer QuietComfort 45 is out of your budget, their noise-cancelling predecessor remains a great, affordable alternative – at least if you can find them. Like newer Bose models, the discontinued QuietComfort 35 II are both comfortable and lightweight. They also come with some commendable features, including good sound quality and the ability to switch seamlessly between two paired devices.
Although their original sticker price was $349, the QC35 II can often be bought for much less. Target and GameStopfor example, they currently sell for about $299, a cool $50 off list price, but far from their all-time low of about $180.
If you’re looking for noise-cancelling headphones that cost less than $200, Sony’s WH-CH710N may be worth checking out. The budget-friendly headphones come with an “Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancellation” feature, which Sony says will automatically select the appropriate noise canceling mode based on the noise levels in your environment. The Bluetooth headphones also have an ambient mode for when you want to hear what’s going on around you and offer up to 35 hours of continuous playback on a single charge.
Sony’s WH-CH710N typically retails for $149.99, and while we’ve seen them drop to just $98, they’re not currently on sale. Adorama is however sell a bundle (normally valued at $184.78) which includes not only the headphones, but also an Energizer UE20003PQ power bank (which usually costs $34.99) and a microfiber cleaning cloth for $178.
Beats Studio 3 Deals
While we wouldn’t recommend these to anyone outside of the Apple ecosystem, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless can be a good alternative if you want Apple over-ear headphones but find the AirPods Max too expensive. The Beats Studio 3 is comfortable to wear, folds in for easy storage and features Apple’s latest generation W1 wireless chip, which still allows you to quickly connect and switch between Apple devices. Note, however, that unlike those built with Apple’s newer H1 chip, the headphones don’t have hands-free Siri support. They also charge via a Micro USB port instead of a Lightning port or USB-C.
The Beats Studio 3 are certainly showing their age right now – the headphones that launched in 2017 after all – but they are currently on sale on Amazon for $179.95 in select colorways† Read our review†

When we first tested the Beats Solo Pro in 2019, we found that Apple’s well-designed headphones offered effective noise cancellation, good durability, long battery life and a balanced sound profile. However, they were discontinued last year and as a result, Apple and most major retailers no longer sell them. But if you love them, they are currently available in blue from Verizon for $199.99that’s about $100 off their original asking price.
