Husband – Nathan Kress

Nathan Kress grew up in Glendale, California with two brothers. From an early age, all the siblings aspired to careers in show business, with Nathan being the first to be encouraged to take up acting for his memorization skills, showing by how easily he could re-enact scenes he saw on television for his family. He signed with a talent agent and started working mainly in advertising. He also had a few voice-over roles, one of his earliest voices in “Babel Pig in the City” when he was six years old.

He then took a break from acting to continue his studies, and lived a relatively normal life, before deciding at age 11 that he was ready to return to the profession.

One of his earliest projects was a production of “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, which motivated him to pursue an acting career. To support him, his parents enrolled him in a homeschool program so that he could devote more time to acting, and in the years that followed he appeared in several guest roles, on shows such as “Without a Trace”, “House” and “Zack & Cody’s Suite Life”.

Rise to Fame – Nathan Kress

After starring in numerous short films, Nathan landed a supporting role in the popular Nickelodeon series “Drake & Josh”, in which he played the character Toplin, who is in love with Miranda Cosgrove’s character. His role on the show would greatly increase his fame, and his performance attracted producers, who invited him to participate in another show that would become “iCarly”.

In the series, he played the role of Freddie, along with Jennette McCurdy and Miranda Cosgrove. As a result, his later scenes in “Drake & Josh” were cut to avoid confusion with fans.

In 2007, “iCarly” was launched to great success, and his character became a favorite of many viewers. He plays the role of the technical producer of the fictional show ‘iCarly’, which stars his two best friends. In the show, he is portrayed as in love with the main character Carly, and he quickly became a household name thanks to the show’s success. At the same time, he had other opportunities, including the Nickelodeon movie “Gym Teacher: The Movie” and “iCarly: iGo to Japan”.

Later career – Nathan Kress

After a long hiatus from “iCarly,” Nathan continued to be associated with Nickelodeon, although he took on other roles, such as a guest appearance on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” which he accepted to deviate from his usual roles. His next roles would be guest appearances in “True Jackson, VP” and he also lent his voice to the animation show “The Penguins of Madagascar”. He then returned to film the final two seasons of “iCarly”, with the characters parting ways in the final episode in 2012. Since then, he has only reprized his role once, in the spin-off “Sam & Cat”.

In 2014, he appeared in his first major film – “in the storm” – alongside Richard Armitage and Sarah Wayne Callies. The film tells the story of the unusual occurrences of tornadoes hitting a fictional town in Oklahoma. He then made a guest appearance in the “Video Game High School” web series, a cult favorite that airs on YouTube. The following year, he made his directorial debut, working on an episode of the show “Henry Danger.” In recent years he has also become more interested in voice work, including for ‘Transformers: Cyberverse’ and ‘Pinky Malinky’.

Private life

London met Nathan on the set of “Into the Storm” in 2014, and the two started dating. After a year together they got engaged, and married later in 2015 at a ceremony in Los Angeles. They have a child born together in January 2018, and the couple often posts photos together on social media. He is a devout Christian and admits he loves working on Freddie, a role that has inspired many of his fans. In their spare time, the couple enjoys supporting numerous charities, including The Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Big Green Help, and Youth with a Mission (YWAM). The family even traveled to Lithuania to help YWAM build homes for those in need in the country.
