Tokyo Revengers Season 2 release date
According to the official website, the second season of “Tokyo Revengers” is expected to premiere in mid-late 2022. Production on the first season was done quickly and it is likely that season 2 is currently in development but not yet revealed. Despite the likelihood of “Tokyo Revengers” returning for a second season, viewers will likely have to wait until early 2023 to see the second season debut.
Which characters will return in the second season of the anime?
Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old man who is unemployed and leads an unpleasant life, is the main character presented at the beginning of “Tokyo Revengers”. However, most of the story takes place when Takemichi is 14 years old and joins the Tokyo Manji Gang, better known as Toman. The gang is led by Manjiro Sano, better known by his nickname Mikey, a 15-year-old who is usually accompanied and protected by his friend Draken, another important member of Toman.
Toman has a large number of members who appear in the anime, but there are a few high-ranking guys who play bigger roles in the unfolding drama. There is Chifuyu Matsuno, the Deputy Captain of Tomen’s First Division, Keisuke Baji, the Captain of the First Division, Takashi Mitsuya, the Captain of the Second Division, and other active members including Atsushi Sendo, Makoto Suzuki, and Kazushi Yamagishi, among others .
The Plot of Tokyo Revengers Season 2
Takemichi, a 26-year-old man who has nothing for him, discovers that his ex-girlfriend Hinata Tachibana and her younger brother have been murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang at the beginning of “Tokyo Revengers”.
Takemichi is in a state of despair, but he has the ability to change the course of history when he is abruptly thrown 12 years back in time.
Takemichi takes advantage of the circumstance to warn Hinata, and she’s still alive when he returns to the present. Unfortunately, his actions have led to other unexpected consequences.
From then on, Takemichi can alternate between the present and 12 years ago, doing everything he can to gain influence in Toman and prevent an extraordinary number of violent incidents. Alternatively, the gang can be erratic and dangerous, and Takemichi is clearly out of his depth in this circumstance.
Takemichi finds out, towards the end of the anime’s first season, that he has been named commander of the First Division, which is good news. However, Takemichi’s life is put in jeopardy, leaving the spectator in suspense. Season 2 will presumably pick up where Season 1 left off, with Takemichi in the midst of a potentially fatal crisis involving other gang members.
