There are several rumors circulating who will perform in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessBut a promo fuels belief about Iron Man’s arrival. A new promo for Doctor Strange 2 gives an obvious look at the character believed to be Superior Iron Man. When the Official Multiverse of Madness trailer appeared at this year’s Super Bowl LVI, several fans were assured that actor Tom Cruise could play Superior Iron Man. This is a variation of Tony Stark who hid his grittiest quality aspects and focused more on his ego, financial gain, and private interests than on heroism. The latest promo currently gives a nicer look at the personality, whose arrival is relatively similar to this version of the armored Avenger.
Superior Iron Man was an exclusive nine-song series written by Tom Taylor and composed by Yıldıray Çınar. In the afterword to Superior Iron Man #2, Marvel Comics Senior Editor Mark Paniccia mentioned how part of this Iron Man’s plan was to generally have blue LEDs stretched through the suit, but that Taylor’s idea was to leave it red. be when he was about to fire on someone for a bit of danger. Taylor, along with satisfied fans, responded to the trailer, bringing up this element of structure, but noting on Twitter that he has no personal input into the film or Superior Iron Man’s involvement in it.
Madness producer Richie Palmer’s multiverse shot down the Superior Iron Man rumors in mid-March, saying he’d like to see Tony further, but some of the rumors are just rumors. Palmer referred to Spider-Man: No Way Home as a consideration to say that some rumors may be real while others are not, as both are Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew garfield eventually appeared in the film. Still, many fans will know that Garfield constantly turned down his entry into No Way Home until the movie finally aired.
In addition, in Palmer’s statements that gave rise to Empire, he spoke as if the Illuminati, a team of Marvel heroes from the comics, were unverified for the Multiverse of Madness. If we ever introduce the Illuminati to the fortune, it might be further MCU driven and have some better links to our characters in the MCU, rather than just duplicating what’s in the comics. Just days later, an Empire Magazine page revealed that there will be an edition of the Illuminati in the Doctor Strange sequel.
The Illuminati selected to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are said to feature many Marvel heroes, with Sir Patrick Stewart‘s Professor X of the X-Men movie franchise. Stewart’s voice could be heard in the trailer that was speculated to feature Superior Iron Man, and the actor later arranged to be involved in the film. Despite this assurance, it’s doubtful whether Stewart will recreate his final edition of Professor X or a variant of the character.
Whether Doctor Strange will face Superior Iron Man in the upcoming film remains to be seen. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theaters on May 6, 2022.
