The summer is upon us as Premier League clubs turn their attention to bolstering their squads during the transfer window.
Arsenal are looking to make an early start to their business, having held talks with the likes of Victor Osimhen and Gabriel Jesus. Reports now suggest the Gunners are also keen on a return to the club for Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are eager to refresh their forward line and are reportedly ready to launch a bid for RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku to beat rival interest, while they haven’t given up hope of landing Aurelien Tchouameni.
Over at Tottenham, the situation is brighter. Fresh from a £150m cash injection from the owners, Antonio Conte is said to be keen on swoops for Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic and Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni, while Harry Kane is ready to re-commit his future to the club. Fraser Forster is also set to join Spurs.
Erling Haaland is set to be unveiled by Manchester City, who are also welcoming Julian Alvarez to the club and chasing a deal for Leeds star Kalvin Phillips.

Julian Alvaerz’s future is at Manchester City
Perhaps lost in all of the Erling Haaland news, it’s easy to forget Manchester City had already signed one of the game’s most exciting young strikers.
Julian Alvarez, who has torn up trees with River Plate, will arrive in the summer and compete with Haaland for a strarting berth.
City SEO Ferran Soriano told Martin Blackburn: “We’ve had many offers from clubs to loan Julian Alvarez – but he is not going to leave.
“He will do pre-season with us and I think he will stay. Barcelona? No, Barça were not interested”.
Chelsea want to keep BOTH N’Golo Kante and Jorginho
One of the first orders of business for Chelsea in the Todd Boehly era will be to tie down the future of players who will soon see their contracts expire.
Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger have already been lost on free transfers, although Thomas Tuchel is eager to keep his midfield in-tact.
According to the BBC, the club are keen on extending the deals of both N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.
The pair are entering the final year of their deals but there is a hope fresh contracts can be offered once the takeover goes through.
Could Lucas Paqueta join the Newcastle revolution?
The Times claim Newcastle are ready to break their transfer record and move for Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta.
Good friends with a certain Bruno Guimaraes, the Brazilian international has previously been spotted donning a Newcastle strip while visiting the man emerging as a cult-hero on St James’ Park.
With Joelinton also impressing, Newcastle’s South American contingent could grow further with the club’s backers now eager to wrap up the Paqueta deal for around £50m.
West Ham and Aston Villa eye Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The Daily Mirror claim Liverpool outcast Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is of interest to both West Ham and Aston Villa.
The midfielder has only made 17 appearances this season and has fallen further down the pecking order following the emergence of Harvey Elliott and the signing of Luis Diaz.
Even with Liverpool fighting across a number of fronts, Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled for game time and could be offered a route out by either West Ham or Villa.
David Moyes will be granted money for a rebuild this summer as he attempts to build on another strong campaign, while Gerrard’s Villa are ambitiously spending having already wrapped up deals for Philippe Coutinho and Boubacar Kamara.
Exclusive: Kane ready to enter Spurs contract talks
Harry Kane is happy at Tottenham and open to signing a new contract with the club, writes Dan Kilpatrick.
Kane pushed to join Manchester City last summer and is thought to have rejected a contract extension shortly after reluctantly conceding that he would be staying at Spurs.
But the England captain is now said to be excited by Spurs’ progress under Antonio Conte and increasingly hopeful he can fulfil his ambitions of winning a trophy with his boyhood club next season.
Kane is yet to hold talks with the club, with two years to run on his current deal, and has been focussed on securing Champions League qualification.
The striker is also waiting to discover the outcome of Conte’s crunch talks with managing director Fabio Paratici this week but, provided Spurs back the head coach as planned, Kane is thought to be happy to entertain an approach from the club when he returns for pre-season.

Arsenal want Serge Gnabry return
Staying with Arsenal for a moment, could a return to the Emirates be in the works for Serge Gnabry?
German publication Bild’s head of football Christian Falk insists it is true that the Gunners are interested in taking the forward back to north London.
What’s more, he says Gnabry “can imagine” going back to Arsenal, the club he left amid a lack of regular first-team opportunities in 2016 before going on to star in the Bundesliga.
However, it is said that the deal is not realistic for this summer, with Mikel Arteta’s side having missed out on a return to the Champions League on the final day of the season.
Rather, next summer could be the ideal time for a move to occur, with Gnabry’s Bayern deal set to expire then.
Gnabry’s future could also have a big impact on that of Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, who has been heavily linked with the reigning German champions.
ICYMI: Tielemans to Arsenal
Arsenal want to sign a midfielder this summer and Youri Tielemans is emerging as their top target.
The Belgian has just one year left on his contract at Leicester and has so far refused to pen an extension.
That is forcing the Foxes to consider offers and Arsenal are one of the clubs keen to sign Tielemans this summer.
The Gunners have been tracking Tielemans since January and, while they have been told the 25-year-old is keen to play in the Champions League, they remain in the race for his signature.

ICYMI: Chelsea prepare Nkunku bid
Chelsea are ready to launch a bid for RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku, reports Goal.
The 24-year-old, who was recently crowned Bundesliga Player of the Year, is currently in contract talks with Leipzig but the Blues sense an opportunity to lure the player to Stamford Bridge.
Real Madrid are also interested, though are prioritising other targets.
ICYMI: Nketiah to sign new contract
Eddie Nketiah has decided to stay at Arsenal, Standard Sport understands.
The young striker has been locked in talks over an extension to his contract, which expires next month, for weeks.
He was expected to leave on a free but has performed a U-turn and is now set to sign a new five-year deal.
ICYMI: Kounde to be Chelsea’s first summer signing
Jules Kounde is likely to be the first signing of Chelsea’s new era under the owner Todd Boehly.
Standard Sport understands the Sevilla defender, who almost joined last summer, remains a key target for the club.
A dream signing for manager Thomas Tuchel would be Robert Lewandowski, who was a target before Romelu Lukaku joined.
