International football might be dominating the footballing agenda as things stand but there is an awful lot going on in the background.

The transfer window does not even open for another few days but, as ever, the proverbial rumour mill is churning.

Lots of big clubs and looking to rebuild, Manchester United in particular are set for another overhaul, with Christian Eriksen thought to be a target for Erik Ten Hag after his impressive Premier League return.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are said to be prepared to make Gabriel Jesus a huge offer to join them from Manchester City after they missed out on Champions League football.

Over in Spain, Barcelona – who have already made moves in the free agent market – have reportedly told Mohamed Salah they will look to sign him when his Liverpool contract runs out in 2023.

Salah’s teammate Sadio Mane has cleared up his comments in regards to a potential move away from Anfield too.
