An exciting collaboration between Netflix and Wit Studio is one of the ways with the new Vampires in the Garden anime.
The series, which is an original story, will premiere on the streaming platform from Monday, May 16, 2022.
In recent weeks, they’ve released several cast and staff names, visuals, and an official trailer for the series on Twitter to generate buzz around the upcoming show.
With Wit Studio in charge of animation, the visuals alone will draw curious viewers, but you can check out the trailer below and judge for yourself.
What is the Vampires in Garden anime about?

The fateful encounter of a human and the vampire queen can change the world.
From WIT STUDIO and a team of talented creators comes Vampire in the garden.
One cold winter, humanity lost the battle with the vampires, and with it most of those they called home. A small population of survivors created a wall of light in a small town to protect them and give them a place to live in peace.
The main character, Momo, lives a repressed life, but still wants to live with the enemy, the vampires. Prima, the vampire queen, once loved people and disappeared from the battlefield. As the war rages through the city of the people, the two have a fateful meeting.
Once upon a time, humans and vampires lived in harmony in a place called Paradise. This is the story of a young girl and a vampire on a journey to find paradise.
It definitely sounds like the sort of series that fans of shows like Seraph of the End or Sirius the Jaeger might enjoy.
Who is in the cast of Vampires in the Garden?
In addition to the promotions, Netflix has announced some of the key cast members for the series.
Momo, the main character of the series, is voiced by Megumi Han. You may recognize her from Platinum End or The Rising of the Shield Hero.
Yu Kobayashi will play Fine. In the past, she has voiced characters from Attack on Titan and Digimon Ghost Game.
Allegro is voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi. He can be heard in series such as Sk8 to the Infinity and Tomodachi Game.
Rika Fukami, who starred in series such as Banana Fish and Fena: Pirate Princess, will be the voice of Novara.
Finally, Hiroki Tochi Kubo will speak. He previously appeared on series such as Seven Deadly Sins and 91 Days.
Who’s on the staff?
Netflix has also announced serval collaborators for the series, and their work should be quite recognizable to anime fans.
The director will be Ryoutarou Makihara. He has several big shows on his resume, including two seasons of Attack on Titan.
Hiroyuki Tanaka will join him, whose credits include action-packed series such as Claymore.
Tetsuya Nakatake will produce. Their previous credits also include Attack on Titan, as well as SPY x FAMILY and Seraph of the End.
The lead animation director and character designer is Tetsuya Nishio, who is known for his work on shows like Naruto and Haikyuu!!
Shunichirou Yoshihara will be responsible for art direction. They have previously worked on Dr. Stone and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Background art is provided by Satoshi Takabatake (vivy: Flourite Eye’s Song) and Kazushi Fujii (Ranking of Kings).
