The first project launch meeting between Vedanta-Iron and Steel leadership team and IIT-B senior executives was held through a virtual platform chaired by Sujal Shah, CEO, Sesa Goa Iron Ore Business, Vedanta Limited and Prof. Arindam Sarkar, IIT-B together with the project team.
This commitment to IIT-B is an important step in line with Vedanta’s larger vision to achieve carbon neutral operations by 2050 and the country’s larger vision for green hydrogen production and aims to create a benchmark transformation in the steelmaking process.
