It was the Brit who topped the timesheets, ahead of George Russell, in Barcelona as Sergio Perez and Verstappen made do with third and fourth, respectively, in their Red Bulls.
When is the Bahrain F1 test?
The second test will take place between Thursday March 10 and Saturday March 12, 2022, at Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain. Each day will feature eight hours of running, split into a morning and afternoon session with a one-hour lunch break.
The Middle Eastern track virtually guarantees good conditions for extensive running while the circuit will also host the season opener, on March 20.
