Season one of Bravo’s new Below Deck Adventure program will feature three sailors, including Texas-born Kyle Dickard. A sailor is a member of the yacht’s deck crew and his or her boss is known as the boatswain. Kyle, who has five years of sea experience, will be seen on deck aboard the yacht Mercury in Below Deck Adventure. Lewis Lupton will be Kyle’s boatswain, while Michael Gilman and Nathan Morley will be his sailors. This season, the team and the entire Mercury crew will cruise the Norwegian fjords.
Kyle Dickard left home at age 19 to travel the world.
Kyle Dickard loves to travel. At the age of 19, he left his home in Texas to pursue his travel ambition. He developed his love for sailing during a visit to the Bahamas and has been working at sea ever since.
Bravo’s website states in his bio:
Born and raised in Texas, Kyle left at age 19 to pursue his lifelong goal of traveling the world. Kyle discovered sailing while on vacation in the Bahamas and thought working on deck was a natural fit. He never looked back.”
It goes on:
“Kyle is a strong sailor with over five years experience at sea and eager to sail new waters. His southern charm usually keeps him out of trouble, but if he disagrees with another crew member, he ends up in hot water.”
Kyle has gone to Cuba, Mexico, the Bahamas, Canada and South Africa, according to his Instagram. Along the way, he met countless celebrities, including UFC champion Colby Covington, influencer Summer Pardi, and comedian Jeff Ross. Kyle’s Instagram photos show that he is a humorous man who enjoys golf and fishing. Will he take his cheerful demeanor to Below Deck Adventure? Only time will tell.

Captain Kerry Titheradge, Chef Jessica Condy, Chef Stew Faye Clarke and her stews Oriana Schneps and Kasie Faddah, and Bosun Lewis Lupton with his sailors Kyle Dickard, Michael Gilman and Nathan Morely all appear in Season 1 of Below Deck Adventure. Kyle appeared to be one of the more controversial cast members on board in a preview of Below Deck Adventure. The video shows him interrogating his boss, Lewis. Then it turned out that Kyle was summoned to the captain’s cabin, where it didn’t seem right to him.
The tension among the deck crew was mentioned in the description of the show on Bravo’s website. It says:
“In this frigid location, Bosun Lewis Lupton and sailors Nathan Morely, Michael Gilman and Kyle Dickard come together as some situations heat up when expectations are not met and interpersonal issues crop up as they try to please their visitors.”
Kyle was also romantically linked to Chef Stew Faye in the promo clip. Only time will tell if the two will continue their relationship indefinitely or for a limited period of time. According to the official recap of the upcoming reality TV show:
“In the latest installment of the Emmy Award-nominated series, Bravo takes viewers outside and off the yacht as guests paraglide, explore caves and take adventurous helicopter rides in the Norwegian fjords.” The series highlights exciting charter clients looking to test their limits for a unique experience amid breathtaking landscapes steeped in Viking heritage.”
Below Deck Adventure Season 1 will premiere on Bravo on November 1, 2022 at 9 p.m. ET, and viewers will be part of the full drama starting next Tuesday.
